About Wye Glamping
Wye Glamping was set up in 2011 and has grown into one of the best glamping sites in the UK.
A family-run business, owners Diane and Al are both event professionals. Al is a sound engineer/designer and Diane’s background is in stage management and technical theatre. They’ve both worked at many festivals and events.
They have four children between them aged 7-18, who they’ve been taking to festivals and campsites since they were babies. As a result they really understand what it is that parents need to be able to relax, whilst knowing how to give children a fun adventure that they’ll never forget. They combine this knowledge, with their experience of staging events and hosting glampers to produce a unique family friendly campsite’.
About Glamping Wales
Glamping Wales began in 2014, as a spin off of Wye Glamping, to help meet the demand for accommodation at the nearby Hay Literature Festival. The aim was to provide as close an experience to the one provided at Wye Glamping as possible, but on a pop up site. The team have been running the Hay Glamping site since 2014, offering a warm welcome, cosy beds, breakfast and above all a great location for access to the festival.
Starry Meadow began in 2020, to meet the demand for staycation holidays during the COVID-19 pandemic. The idea was to provide a glamping experience with the atmosphere and buzz of a small festival, but in a safe and socially distanced way.
